Blogging at the edge of the shift… Part III (Winter Solstice 2012)
The primary purpose behind my blogging at this moment in time, right now in our beloved city of Hong Kong is to raise awareness about the change in consciousness humanity is experiencing en mass today. As I have said previously, I trust this to be the most important& inspiring factor for positive change & hope brewing today on any level & all levels.
I also strongly feel that my words & writings are manifesting themselves through my blog to give support and strength to the pioneers, campaigners, the peaceful warriors & the cultural creative movers & shakers in our city, those of us who have been at the forefront of change for some time now, flowing against the grain of the dominant material consciousness (paradigm) that grips HK.
Pioneers, visionaries & activists also have blocks and down days where self doubt creeps in, especially with so much negativity in the media and on our streets day in day out.
I sincerely hope that my words can give us not only hope but a deep understanding and a powerful tool in the form of clarity & vision to help us access the insight into the inevitable exponential growth towards a dominant consciousness paradigm as we leave behind us the still dominant, but sunset, material paradigm that has dominated humanity for at least the last 500 years or so & much further back into our recorded history. ( I will write further about this in later blogs )
So it was with a great unsettling feeling & an unusual sense of sadness that I went to bed last Friday night the 12th of October 2012. About 30 of us had attended a talk by Gypsy Gita a very young 62 year old, charismatic native American Indian healer who was just in HK for one night only, seemingly to deliver his message to the few who had gathered to hear him talk.
In a nut shell he spoke about the Earth Changes prophecized to take place around the coming Winter Solstice (21st December). I am not sure how aware you are about these changes, but there has been an increasing amount of literature, both academic & lay alike , talking about a Pole Shift that supposedly happens once every 13,000 years in a 26,000 thousand year cycle that our Mother Earth undergoes. The last known ice age was roughly about 13,000 years ago. You may also have heard about the prophecies of ancient cultures such as the Mayan Culture and the Navaho American Indians amongst others, depicting with precise accuracy dates and outcomes for such changes. A quick google search will reveal the plethora of information available to us today. There is no need for me to go into the details of the whys, hows & whens etc... but it will suffice to say that it would be foolish to ignore this body of work whether you believe in it or not. My advice would be to always keep an open mind & heart, always. For the greatest discoveries and breakthroughs have often come about to such people. Dismissing things because they don’t fit into our own perspectives & judgements is very dangerous to say the least. I also need to mention that not all data and opinions agree on the this date and some predict the changes to happen towards the Equinox of 2013 and some even hundreds of years further down the line.
I admit, although i have been aware of these predicted Earth Changes for quite some time now, I hadn’t really felt into them deeply but rather related to them intellectually. Especially with the said date of 2012 being so far into the future. Well, now it is less than two months away, eeeeeek! What happened to time !? Did someone press fast forwards !?
So back to last Friday night, where Gypsy shook the foundation of most, if not all the people there, primarily due to his conviction that these changes were inevitable and, were less than 3 months away!
I am not qualified to talk about such work and will not go into details here. However I have been reading up on Sacred Geometry, Pole Shifts, Earth Changes, Procession of the Equinox, Ancient Cultures, Ascension, Consciousness Evolution, Esoteric Knowledge, Mystery Schools etc to name a few for some time now, and all I can say is that it is mind bogglingly inspiring & totally feasible by the smallest stretch of our imagination. The problem is that it does not fit into our current dominant material paradigm and therefore easy to dismiss & ignore without ever understanding it in the slightest. For how can we!? As Deepak Chopra put it “What the mind doesn’t believe the eyes won’t see.” So I fully understand and sympathize with how people find it hard to relate to.
Nevertheless, I have been feeling an undercurrent of sadness & an unusually agitated thought process around this matter. The sadness arises from my dismay at humanity and how it has chosen to become fearful instead of loveful & how it has decided to live a material lifestyle instead of a spiritual lifestyle, and mostly the profound sadness at what such a material paradigm has done to our beautiful Mother Earth. The agitation arises from the potential loss of all that is around us and our way of life, with all its flaws & beauty, if it were to all to suddenly collapse due to the prophecised Earth Changes.
I thank Gypsy for bringing this energy into my awareness once again & allowing me to have deep conversations with people close to me about this. It is a bottomless topic with infinite outcomes and one that never ends or concludes, fascinating to say the least.
My personal overstanding of this is to fully TRUST in the infinite wisdom of creation and the conscious flow of life. I have no fear of death as such and what will be will be. We are all going to die in the physical sooner or later, and so what if our time has come. It will only be the end of the world as we know it. It may also be the birth of a whole new world.
As Deepak Chopra puts it succinctly “ The past is history, the future a mystery, the moment a gift, that’s why it’s called the present.”
I will continue to focus on all we have, the present, but perhaps start paying a little more attention to my health, physical, mental & spiritual. It is also a good time to go on a fast, a cleanse or a detox. A time to go deeper into meditation and a time to go deeper into Yoga.
A time to take stock of what really matters to us most in life. A time to reflect & go inwards. It is not a time for fear & panick, and selfish behaviour but rather the total opposite. Oh and I will listen to a lot more reggae music and dance to its sweet uplifting beat.
Being prepared mentally & spiritually will go a long way further than being only prepared physically. Most people will not be ready for such changes and will freak out to say the least should we plunge into 3 days of darkness or our entire electricity grid system should collapse. Imagine not being able to charge our beloved laptops & iphones anymore.
Once we start going down the road of what “ifs” scenarios it becomes a head-fuck.
A very dangerous road to go down, for whichever way you look at it, one will never be ready for such tremendous Earth Changes. And whether we survive them or not will depend a lot on luck or on our destiny at the end of the day.
Being prepared for the possibility of surviving the initial Earth Changes that may happen is not a foolish thing to do, because if this does happen and we wake up and find ourselves amongst the survivors then what else can we do than want to continue living and breathing this sacred life that we are so blessed to have and to give thanks and praises continually. And if it doesn’t, what harm is there in getting acquainted & knowledgable about some useful tools, practices & nutritious foods that can help us grow towards the light so to speak.
Come what may, or not, this is a chance for us to go deeper into our spiritual awakening and to wake up to all the beautiful things happening in our world. A chance to grow towards the light and not to shrink into darkness. Check out www.positivenews.org.uk for example and get an insight into just how much positive growth is happening today...

Wake up! Wake up to this biggest movement of people in the history of humanity ever!!
This movement I have been blogging about, and which, if you are reading my blog, chances are you are part of too and yet may not be aware of the greater collective.
Back to the old Winter Solstice this year, well, incidentally I will be either around a roaring, bright & warm fire at my beloved Gaia House on Lamma Island or with my extended blood family in London celebrating my Father’s 80th birthday & drinking copious amounts of tea. Either way is good and all is GOD.
This brings me to my favourite three words in the English language Trust, Trust & Trust.
